Barn Painting Party and MORE at THE DOWNINGS - THIS SUNDAY

Hey Phos folk,

Just wanted to write and remind you about an exciting time we have coming up this Sunday at the home of the Downings.  We are going to join together as a church family and help them get some much needed work on their property completed.  We have a variety of opportunities to serve from Barn Painting, to landscaping, to filling ruts, to cutting stumps etc....  We will also have some fun activities for the kids and teens and we will finish the day with a meal together.  

WE WILL MEET AT THE DOWNINGS  @ 2:00, THIS SUNDAY, JULY 11.  

If you have signed up and let us know what area you would be interested in serving that is great!  We look forward to seeing you there.  If you haven't signed up yet and and would like to let us know what areas you would like to serve, please email 

Meredith@phoschurch.com.  That way we can ensure that we have enough supplies and enough food.  (Some of you signed up on a generic list but haven't told us where you'd like to serve - if you can do that - that would be great)

Here are several of the areas where we need help: - (the tools needed for each project are listed, please let us know if you can bring any of these - even if you aren't working that particular job)

REPAIR AND CLEAN GUTTERS - extension ladders - can't be afraid of heights for this one.

CLEAN UP FLOWER BEDS AND MULCH - gloves, rakes, shovels, trash bags

TRIM BUSHES AND WEEDWACKING - heavy duty weedwackers

FIX RUTS IN YARD - shovels, rakes, and wheelbarrow

BARN PAINTING - scrapers, 9" rollers, paint brushed of various sizes, extension ladders, regular ladders

TRIM DOWN STUMPS AROUND POND - chainsaws

PRUNE TREES - tree loppers, ladder

MEAL PREP & WATER TEAM - Coolers for water are needed - FOOD PREP - this will mostly happen later on in the day, so you can help with something else and also with this if you would like

Take 1-71 North to the Lagrange Exit

Turn right onto 53  

Turn Left onto ZHALE SMITH RD.

Turn Left onto MAPLE DR.

Turn Left onto Beech Dr.
