Join us for a look at the Names of God. Learn more about the God of the Universe and yourself in this 3-week study. Have you ever wondered why there is so much emphasis on the Name of the LORD in the Bible? We end our prayers with it - "In Jesus' Name". One of the 10 Commandments is to not take the name of the LORD in vain. References to the Name of the LORD are throughout scripture so we need to look at it closely to find out what significance it holds and if it means anything to us today.

"The Bible is full of examples of how God's people face crisis after crisis. These biblical personalities and families were not hopeless in the face of catastrophe-instead, their faith in God buoyed them, giving them hope for the future and strength to cope in the present." -John LepperThere is an exciting new opportunity for those of you who have a desire for helping yourself and others during a time of crisis. On Sunday, October 14, in the PCC Cafe from 12:30-2 , come join us for lunch, then John Lepper will be facilitating an introductory awareness session called "Helping Yourselves and Others When Crisis Comes Home".
John's book "When Crisis Comes Home" will be available to participants for $10 each.(PCC will cover the other $5 for the cost of the $15 book) We will do an overview of what if looks like to be a Good Helper when someone we love faces a crisis.After this session, if you want to go further, John will be leading 2 Wednesday night sessions at PCC on November 7 and November 14, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM
During these sessions, John will further equip you to help others who are going through difficult times.When these sessions are completed , we are going to develop a team of individuals who want to begin a PCC Care Team to minister to people in our church who are experiencing a crisis, going to have surgery, and other various situations. This team will be led by Theresa Stewart. So come join in on the ground level of the training and development of this new opportunity to serve others.

PARENTING 101 CLASS offered by OPERATION: PARENT and the OC Group at PCC Main Campus on Wednesdays Beginning Sept 12 at 7 PM
Parenting 101Course
On Wednesday September 12 at 7 PM Phos Community Church will begin offering this vital, fun & informative multi-week parenting workshop.
As a former youth minister I'd highly recommend that all parents in our community with children from grades 4 through 12 to engage here.
