Daniel's Baptism in the rain? (we're gonna treat this like a Baseball Game and show up to play....)

Gang, there's no way of telling exactly what's gonna happen in the weather, so we're gonna go rain or shine!  Bring an umbrella.  If there's electricity in the air we'll sit in our cars and wait it out for a bit.  Gotta big flashlight you can bring just in case?  So, let's play.  You're a wild and crazy bunch o folks anyway!!  See you there in a bit.

Kristen Stringfellow came up with a great way to offer encouragement
to Daniel Grover as he prepares to leave for the army. She thought it
would be great if we wrote letters of encouragement to Daniel and we
can give them to him at his baptism.  If you are unable to attend the
baptism feel free to email your letter to treas4kids@aol.com and
Theresa Stewart will make sure he gets it. Thanks so much for showing
God's love through this sweet act of service.

It will be a beautiful, simple time of singing, praying for Daniel and

down the way.  If you arrive between 8 ad 8:15 we'll have someone up
at the road to direct you to the lake.  (if you have a vehicle with
low clearance you will want to park up on the hill and walk down as
the road is rough down near the lake)

Prayer Request from Mary Esterle ...

Please keep our family in your prayers.  Our niece, Beth Raque, delivered a baby boy, Thomas Ryan, today at just over 26 weeks.  He weighs just barely over 1 pound.  Last word this evening is that he is stable.  We have been told to be prepared for good days and bad - hoping that eventually the good will out number the bad.  Pleae keep us all in your thoughts and prayers as we take this emotional roller coaster ride!!!  We know that the weeks ahead aren't going to be easy.

Thanks!

Kristen Stringfellow looking for an electric dryer and washer -- got one?

I signed the lease and moved into my townhouse Thursday evening.  I know God had His hand in it and it already feels like home.

I do need to find an inexpensive washer and dryer (electric) if anyone is getting rid of them or knows someone who has a set for sale...cheap =)  Can you post that or get the word out and keep your ear open?  I appreciate it.

Also, great messages the last 2 weeks.  Not that you don't always have a good message, but just seemed to hit me where i live the last couple weeks.

Thanks for being a "reachable" pastor.

Hi Meredith,
Will you please put this thank you in the bulletin for me?

I awoke this morning and couldn't help but look out my bedroom window once again, as I have been since Sunday.  My heart leaps for joy as tears run down my cheeks when I walk around my yard and see all of God's goodness to me and my family.  I don't even know how to express my gratitude, for the gift is so great.  Thank you my brothers and sisters for allowing God to use you once again to minister to me and my family. Now I can LIVE life and not just survive it.  God is so good!

Subject: RE: Phos Church at OCHS 10 AM this Sunday ..GREAT STORIES OF THE BIBLE SERIES CONTINUES - FREEDOM
To: Jeff Fuson <jeff@ph-church.org>

Hi Jeff,

I have a couple of major needs and wanted to see if you can get the word out.  I need to find a place to live.  I have been torn on what I'm supposed to do, stay here or move back "home" to TN.  I feel like God wants me to be here where I pretty much have no one but Him to depend on.  I really feel like he wants to grow my relationship with Him without any distractions (family, etc).  So, it's scarey, however, i know He will not bring me TO anything that He won't bring me THROUGH.  So, I need a place for me and Kylie and her small (11 lb) dog in the OCHS school district.

Also, I have a job (I've been here for 3 years) but I'm needing to find something closer, like Oldham County.  I am attaching my resume and would love it if you could pass it around for me.

Thanks for your help

Hey Jeff,

Please add our niece Beth Raque to your prayer list.  She has been
hospitalized for the duration of her pregnancy which should be about16
more weeks.  The Dr. is setting small goals to be more realistic - 2
weeks would give the steroids a chance to work on lungs, 4 weeks would
be even better.  These are the minimum goals!  They really need
prayers - really a miracle!!!

Thanks!
